fasting tips *trigger warning*
*PLEASE DON’T READ THIS IF YOU’RE EASILY TRIGGERED I DON’T NEED ANY MORE HATEFUL COMMENTS OKAY*
1. IM SORRY BUT I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH *drink coffee* even if you don’t like it it honestly helps so much its an appetite suppressant and it gives u energy. Also, if u don’t add anything to it its super low cal at like 5-10 cals a cup home made
2. Day one: stay warm, light exercise if possible
Past day one: very light exercise but resting is okay. stay cold, ik it sounds weird but when ur cold ur internal organs work slower which can reduce hunger pains etc3. suck on ice- this reduces hunger pains and makes you feel full for a while
4. STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN one of my fav sayings for fasting is let laziness win over hunger. who knows you might not go eat food if its not easily accessible
5. this doesn’t work for everyone but i like to watch food videos cause it gives me the experience without the food
6. weigh yourself- you might not feel inclined to eat when u see how far or close you are to your ultimate goal weight
7. if you really cant keep going have ¼ cup of watered down oatmeal throughout the day- this is only 20-30 calories
8. drink water. sips throughout the day keep the hunger at bay! it will also keep you hydrated.
9. green tea. green tea keeps your metabolism fast, aids weight loss, and has so many other benefits
10: slowly ease back into eating after, if you eat a lot quickly, it might trigger a binge and the last thing you need is to gain back all that weight
